Brandt Jones, known by his stage name B-Legit, is an American rapper hailing from Vallejo, California. Born on January 13, 1968, B-Legit started his music career in 1988 and has been an influential figure in the hip hop and hyphy genres.

B-Legit graduated from General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo Senior High School in 1986 and was a member of the school’s marching band. Before fully pursuing his music career, he attended Grambling State University. He later became a member of The Click, a rap group formed by his cousin E-40. B-Legit gained further recognition after being featured on 2Pac’s track “Aint Hard 2 Find” from the iconic album All Eyez on Me.

Throughout his career, B-Legit has collaborated with numerous artists, such as E-40, Celly Cel, Master P, Too Short, Scarface, Snoop Dogg, and the late Mac Dre. He has released several solo albums including “Tryin’ to Get a Buck” (1993), “The Hemp Museum” (1996), “Hempin’ Ain’t Easy” (2000), and “Hard 2 B-Legit” (2002). In addition to his solo work, B-Legit has been part of various collaboration albums, such as “Down and Dirty” with The Click (1992) and “Connected and Respected” with E-40 (2018).

B-Legit’s discography also consists of mixtapes, compilation albums, and numerous guest appearances on tracks with fellow artists. His dedication to his craft and his continued collaborations with other influential artists have solidified his place as a respected figure in the hip hop community.
