Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known by his stage name The Game, is a multi-talented artist born on November 29, 1979, in Compton, California. Taylor’s introduction to the world of rap began with a series of mixtapes and an independent album called Untold Story (2004). Shortly after, he was discovered by renowned record producer Dr. Dre and signed to Aftermath Records. The Game’s rise to fame came with the release of his major-label debut album, The Documentary (2005), which was a massive success, followed by Doctor’s Advocate (2006).

Throughout his career, The Game has been a driving force in reviving the West Coast hip hop scene and establishing himself as a major player in the industry. With a tumultuous past involving gang activities and disputes with other artists, The Game has managed to stay focused on his music and deliver high-quality albums that showcase his talent and passion for hip-hop. Beyond music, he has also ventured into acting and founded The Black Wall Street Records.

The Game’s career has been marked by critical acclaim and commercial success, with several of his albums debuting at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. Despite announcing his retirement in 2019, The Game continues to make music, with his tenth studio album, Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind, slated for a 2022 release.
