Jerold Dwight Ellis III, better known by his stage name Yukmouth, is a renowned American rapper born on October 18, 1974, in East Oakland, Oakland, California. With a career spanning nearly three decades, Yukmouth has made a significant impact on the hip-hop scene with his distinct West Coast style and gangsta rap flair.

Yukmouth first gained fame as a member of the rap duo Luniz, alongside Numskull. The duo is best known for their hit weed anthem, “I Got 5 on It.” Yukmouth later signed a solo record deal with J-Prince’s Rap-a-Lot Records, releasing four albums, including the gold-certified double album, Thugged Out: The Albulation. He is also a member of Thug Lordz with C-Bo.

In addition to his successful music career, Yukmouth is a savvy entrepreneur. He founded Smoke-A-Lot Records and Godzilla Entertainment, both of which have housed numerous established artists.
