David Brown, better known by his stage name Roscoe, is an American rapper born in 1983 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s, fueled by his older brother Kurupt’s influence, and has since created a legacy in the hip-hop scene. With his roots in Los Angeles, California, Roscoe has become a notable figure in the gangsta rap and G-funk genres.

Roscoe’s career took off when his brother Kurupt, who was signed to Death Row Records, introduced him to the world of hip-hop. He made his first appearance on Kurupt’s album Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha and later released his debut mixtape, “When The Pain Inflict” in 2001. The mixtape’s positive reception led to Roscoe signing with Priority Records, and soon after, he released his debut album, Young Roscoe Philaphornia, in 2003.

In the years that followed, Roscoe continued to release music, including his most recent mixtape Tha Influence in 2013, which featured guest appearances from Xzibit and Kendrick Lamar. He also released his third studio album, Scoe, Tha Influence Album, in 2014 under his new label, 3D Shadez Entertainment. This album saw Roscoe taking a more musical approach, working with live musicians rather than producers.

Throughout his career, Roscoe has collaborated with numerous artists, such as Bulletz, AK, Kurupt, and many more. His discography includes four studio albums, three collaboration albums, and several mixtapes and singles, which have earned him a reputation as a talented and influential rapper in the industry.
