Timothy Cornell Patterson, better known as Mozzy, is a talented American rapper hailing from Oak Park, Sacramento, California. Born on June 24, 1987, Mozzy started his rapping journey in 2004 under the name Lil Tim before changing his stage name to Mozzy in 2012. Mozzy’s breakthrough came in 2015 with the release of his album “Bladadah,” which earned him significant recognition and accolades.

Mozzy was raised by his grandmother, Brenda Patterson-Usher, a former Black Panther party member, in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood. He attended Sacramento High School but dropped out to earn his GED and work local jobs until pursuing a full-time music career in 2010. Mozzy’s career took off as he collaborated with various artists, such as Philthy Rich, YG, and Nef the Pharaoh. His solo work, including mixtapes like “Bladadah,” further solidified his status as a rising star in the rap industry.

Despite facing several legal issues and controversies, Mozzy has consistently released music and collaborated with top artists in the industry. In 2022, he signed a major-label contract in a joint venture with CMG and Interscope Records. Mozzy’s impressive discography includes multiple studio albums, mixtapes, EPs, and collaborative projects that showcase his lyrical prowess and unique style.
