Monterrio Williams, known professionally as Luni Coleone or Lunasicc, is a prominent figure in the West Coast hip-hop scene. Born on August 10, 1978, in Sacramento, California, he has been active in the music industry since 1995. He is widely celebrated for his distinctive style of gangsta rap that encapsulates the experiences of urban youth.

Williams began his journey in the music industry under the stage name Lunasicc in 1995. His initial introduction was through his cousin X-Raided’s album “Xorcist”. Two years later, in 1997, Lunasicc released his solo debut, “Mr. Lunasicc”, on AWOL Records, earning positive reviews from critics. His second album, “A Million Words, a Million Dollars”, released in 1998, received even stronger acclaim. In the same year, he collaborated with Killa Tay and KJ to form the supergroup, Dosia, producing the album “Waiting to Inhale”.

In the year 2000, Lunasicc rebranded himself as Luni Coleone, releasing his first album under the new name, “Total Recall”. His songs like “All I Wanna Do”, “All I Ever Wanted To Do”, and “Thug Sh*t” resonated with fans for their authentic depiction of life in American inner cities.

Luni Coleone’s career is punctuated by numerous collaborations with other West Coast artists, such as X-Raided, Mac Dre, Brotha Lynch Hung, and more. He was notably featured on Playalitical’s album “Code Green” on the song “The New West”. Over the years, he has released an extensive discography, encompassing studio albums, collaboration albums, compilation albums, mixtapes, and singles.
