Philthy Rich

Philthy Rich is a rapper and entrepreneur from the Seminary neighborhood of Oakland, California. He owns the record label SCMMLLC, which is often distributed by EMPIRE.

Philthy Rich’s first rap appearances were in ’06 -’07, when he was involved in a number of projects on the local label Livewire Records. At that time, his frequent collaborators were J. Stalin, Stevie Joe, Shady Nate, Lil Blood, Jay Jonah and others. His first solo album, Funk or Die, was released on July 21, 2009 by Town Thizzness / SMC Records. To date, Philthy Rich has released more than 60 mixtapes, albums and EPs.

Philthy Rich’s musical career is surrounded by controversy, but we will not go into detail about the individual incidents. However, it is worth mentioning the vicious diss tracks against Mozzy, Lavish D, Kafani, Messy Marv & DB Tha General.
