Phillip Anthony Beasley, known professionally as Philthy Rich, is an American rapper born on January 30, 1983, in Seminary, East Oakland, California. With a career spanning over a decade, Philthy Rich has become an influential figure in the West Coast hip-hop scene. His journey began in 2007 when he invited several fellow rappers to join him on tour. However, the tour was canceled after Philthy’s arrest and subsequent imprisonment for selling narcotics.

After signing with RBC Records and eOne Music in 2013, Philthy Rich released N.E.R.N.L. 2, featuring guest appearances from notable artists like Fabolous, Gunplay, and Trae tha Truth, among others. Throughout his career, Philthy has faced several controversies and legal issues. He has been arrested for possession of stolen property, illegal weapons, and involvement in a shooting.

Despite these setbacks, Philthy Rich has persevered and continued to produce music. His discography includes multiple studio albums, EPs, independent albums, and mixtapes, featuring collaborations with a wide range of artists. In 2021, he released two EPs, “Phillip Beasley Ep” and “Solidified Ep.” His latest album, “Motivational Purpose,” was released in 2022, with N.E.R.N.L. 4 expected in the near future.
