Charles Mitchell, known professionally as Mitchy Slick, is a seasoned American rapper hailing from Southeast San Diego, California. Born on December 29, 1973, he has established himself as a solo artist and a member of the rap supergroup Strong Arm Steady, alongside rappers Phil Da Agony and Krondon. Mitchy Slick has successfully released three solo albums and numerous collaborations, making him a formidable figure in the hip-hop industry.

Growing up in the Lincoln Park area of San Diego, Mitchy Slick attended Prairie View A&M in Texas before returning to California to embark on his musical career. As the CEO of Wrongkind Records, he has built a strong network of artists, producers, DJs, and entrepreneurs. His debut album, Trigeration Station, released in 2001, peaked at #13 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart.

Since then, Mitchy Slick has released a multitude of mixtapes, including the XXL Guns collection, Mitchy Duz It, and Urban Survival Syndrome. Strong Arm Steady, the west coast supergroup, has also released several projects such as Deep Hearted, Gang Mentality, In Search of Stoney Jackson, and Arms and Hammers. Collaborating with notable artists like Lil Wayne, The Game, Nipsey Hussle, and E-40, Slick’s influence spans across the hip-hop community.

In 2013, Mitchy Slick appeared on R&B legend Gladys Knight’s album and later performed the track “Old School” with her on the Queen Latifah Show. With a discography that includes studio albums, extended plays, mixtapes, collaborations, and compilations, Mitchy Slick’s impact on the music industry is undeniable.
